Various users are requesting a way to play a block of music as in a mixshow or similar/identical to a "top 20 countdown" in a scheduled show (Prerecorded). Broadcasters are asking of ways to stay compliant such as: Submitting a playlist as a txt file for reporting and/or having a tool to timestamp a large file in to smaller segments.
Included is an image form a different website that has the functionality of adding timestamps and tracks to a single file uploaded to their servers.

JohnYes! Please implement this. When I had to move from my previous broadcasting platform to LIVE365, I lost two very popular shows due to the licensing rules here.

RodneyI have been asking for this for almost a year now. Hope it happens soon.

97.3 The ARCHUGE plus for several reasons. Most of us could pre-record let's say an hour show with music, ID's etc, upload the mp3 in one file and schedule it. Or a 24 hour playlist. But, as it is, that can't happen since there is no way to send meta tag data to stay compliant. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE work on this ;)

Kevin McElroyThis is a very important feature Live 365 needs to offer. Presenters/DJs are what differentiates internet broadcasting from other music platforms in a positive way. They are the brand advocates companies like Live 365 can rely on to drive traffic to the platform.

Alim WilsonI was wondering if Live365 has any plans to put something like this in place, and is there a proposed time frame?

Ken Main97.3 The Arc wrote "as it is, that can't happen since there is no way to send meta tag data to stay compliant." There is a way to do this, but it's labor intensive. Cue sheets are simple text files that will run in tandem (real-time) with your pre-recorded program. We utilize a popular automation play out software that self-creates the cue sheet as you record the show. It captures any metadata you choose a few seconds before the music track starts. Most collection services accept them.

MPfreeUK RadioI remember on the old Live365 platform a broadcaster had created a little program called SendSongInfo which i used during live broadcasts which you could type in the meta data and would manually send Track, Artist, Album data to Live365. The DJ software I used went through mixing desk to a seperate computer which ran the broadcast software so was not involved in the stream itself so needed this little tool. Would be useful if a tool like this could be made again

GordonAs a syndicated show producer, I welcome the addition of .txt file or .csv file playlist uploads. Many Live365 stations are unable to air syndicated shows with the present setup. Please make this available. Thank you!

DennelI have been asking you guys about something like this for almost a year; this would certainly be greatly beneficial to those of us
who wish to produce prerecorded music shows and still be compliant. You guys really need to set this up immediately! -

GreggI don't see how stations could program an hour of music without commercials and still be in compliance.

JoelLet's see clearly in 2020! Surely there can be some flexibility to enable this, even if it means we need to manually insert timestamped cue points listing out the tracks.

DJ Crave MergedIt would be awesome to be able to provide Details in the Banner when a DJ does a LIVE set. That would really take Live365 to the next level.

CaptHughThis is still a very in demand feature and with the thread being over 2 years old there has been ample time to test solutions.
Perhaps as I write this you are having success! I play out (and pay out) my shows in real time and then archive them into 1 hour mp3's for distribution. Cue sheets as text files are provided by my archiving software. PLEASE IMPLEMENT!
It would also benefit podcasters who would like to remain compliant making your service VERY ATTRACTIVE to that growing market. -

ShaunYes please implement this along with syndicated shows
-

Hail WilsonAs it is now I separate the music in a prerecorded syndicated show in to separately metatagged mp3s. I find a point in the host's talk break to separate them, then just put them in the right order. This gives the appearance, for one, that the host's music is being played live in the studio, showing up as now and recently played tunes by artist and song.

D.BakeThis feature alone has prevented me from growing my station in the direction that I plan.
I am really enjoying having Live 365 host my station but this feature would push it over the top and really allow me to grow exponentially! I can't wait for the update to be pushed! 2021 is the year! -

Phil MorseYes, this is important. From a club DJ's point of view, DJs produce mixes which are treated as a whole body of work, that currently there is no way to play on Live365 legally, it seems. You should look at how Mixcloud does it, and incorporate this into your platform. Have another "category" of content type, called "DJ Mix", where the user uploads a completed mix, and also a play sheet. Even better, fingerprint the files yourselves automatically, as YouTube does.
