Implement an advanced "Sort By" search option
Recommending a "sort by" or an additional "filter"feature in the "Tracks" section to easily find an item as follows:
Sort By:
+ Artist
> A to Z
< Z to A
+ Title
> A to Z
< Z to A
+ Date Added
> 0 to 9
< 9 to 0
+ Year
> 0 to 9
< 9 to 0
This would make the process of creating a Playlist easier and also to be able to locate certain songs/artists or the date a song was added to the Library. Of course the metadata needs to be correct to function properly for some sorts.

Philip AdminThis could be streamlined to use drop-down menus for the search criteria, as compared to using syntactical search queries.

RichYes, I agree 100%, the easiest and most convenient way is always best. I was just doing a drill-down to over emphasise the options.

FredAlso, the ability to "sort" categories & clockwheels alphabetically or at least allow us to move the category and clockwheel names up and down into any order (like we can do with the individual clockwheel entries) so we can group similar-named items together. Right now they are all over the place -- regardless of whenever you create a new entry. Thanks for your consideration.

James JacobsI am having that same problem. If you could sort by Artist, Song title, or album, you could find your duplicute tracks, if you have put some in more than once, and you could tell whether you have that track already in the playlist.

I wanted to ask, to see if you could add a search field component to a playlist column. If you look at the attach PNG, you will see I have the regular database view on the left, on the right I have one of my playlists in view. Would be nice if I could do a search in the playlist column, in case I need to look for a particular song, I can just do a search. The way it is now, if I need to look for a particular song, I have to manually sift-down though the playlist.
