Offset volume control for ads
An offset volume control, that passes the user's volume preference to the ads server would be useful.
DJ's will then have the option to play ads either over, under, or at the same volume level as their steams.

0100 Splash Radio MergedAdvertisement volume level appears to be low and needs to be increased to match the level of the broadcasts.

RonnaldoIt would be great to control the general volume of commercials coming from the advertising server. Commercials on my station are consistently louder. I can live with normalization differences between songs, that in my opinion, is my responsibility. But, we should have more control over the general volume of the commercials. It would really be a plus for my listeners.

Tammy G. MergedAllow broadcasters to adjust Ad volume with programming. Old Time Radio SciFi radio is difficult to listen too, especially with headphones. The broadcast is a much lower volume than the Ads, therefore when plays, it blasts through your headphones or speaker.

SakeBito at Amanogawa ExpressYes, this is vital - over the last few months the ad volume relative to songs has gotten completely out of control, and it's an absolute listenership killer.
If a listener in his cubicle at work has the volume set at an acceptable level and suddenly an ad blasts out like a 747 in full take-off roll, well guess what? The station is going to get turned off, and there goes listenership. And I am meticulous about consistent pre-upload volume level setting, so the problem is not on my end. -

AmanogawaExpressYes, seriously needed control. At minimum, I would recommend that Live365 code a default ad volume that would equalize every ad to the sound level of the song/content that played directly before it.
Listeners at work - those whose work situation allows - represent a big part of the listener base. But if you're listening at work at a comfortable volume level, and suddenly the whole office block gets blasted with an ad that sounds like a 747 in full takeoff roll, the station is going to get turned off, at least for the rest of the day, guaranteed.
Incongruously loud ads, in short, destroy listenership. And of course, annoyance and anger prompt listeners to boycott, not to buy - so loud ads are a little self-defeating anyway. -
