Block metadata for Ads, IDs, Sweepers etc.
It would be great if there were a way to filter or block certain metadata from being sent to the player/app as well as the recently played list. I happen to run imaging every few tracks plus promos and bumpers before and after ad breaks as well as "feature" lead-ins and those tracks clog up my recently played list on the Live365 app as well as looks stupid when the metadata of something like "New Music Sweep" shows up in the player. As shown in the picture below where I have "Philly" or "altmedradioID" listeners nor the PROs want to see that info and it's not really doing anything for anyone really. If we could block or chose the option to not show metadata for categories like Station ID, Ads, or promo that would be great. Thank you.

DennelI absolutely agree with Dan, displaying that sort of info serves no purpose and really does look silly
appearing in the "recently played" or in the player. -

Jay GoldbergI strongly disagree with this. I use the tags in the promos, ids, etc. to promote the station and shows. For example, if my promo for the show Spotlight on Indies is playing I want the info on the player to show Rock on Neon Radio and Spotlight on Indies. The metadata here should be used by all to promote their shows/stations.

Kevin Geter MergedHaving the ability to mask per-recorded content from broadcasters would be a boon! Terrestrial radio software is able to do this and it would be nice if Live365 is able to do that. Also, for its own commercial breaks, why not have a more pleasant looking graphic that says, commercial break in progress....do something that is a bit more visually appealing as oppose to that ugly "ad or break message". Listeners are not stupid, and when they see the break message displayed, they know that its not live.

Richard EMay I suggest that we could use the Album field to indicate whether the entry should be displayed or not. If the system was set up so that if the string "ID/PSA" (for example) existed in the metadata Album field then the entry's metadata would be supressed. If you didn't want the suppression you just don't put that string there.

Justin HarrisI totally agree, or if we could make it not show info for tracks over a certain number of seconds. I am live just about all the time, so don't have much in the auto dj. But this would fix the problem whether live or using auto dj.

StuartMetadata for ADBREAK_120 etc should be hidden or replaced with "Thanks for listening" If you're paying for the pro service, you should get exactly that.

Jeff DeBoer MergedMake it possible to exclude certain categories or media types from showing up in the "previously played" list. I'd like to be able to exclude my imaging from showing up in the list so that the list is only showing the songs I've played. Especially since there are only 5 items in the list, if 2 of those things are sweepers, I don't think the listeners care very much about that. I think they'd rather just see the last 5 songs.
