Sync ClockWheel queue to top of hour so ID's are played at the expected time
...[A] big one for me is having the ability to clear the queue when a new clock launches at the top of the hour or the bottom of the hour, or whenever a new clock starts. Because of the length of some cuts, my clocks are way off and Station IDs are out of place. I am not a fan of kneecapping cuts just to make a clock roll out at a :00 and :30. PAL scripting in SAM Broadcaster made this a cinch to do. Many thanks for your consideration!

Austin MergedSomething like a clock wheel that allows you to set a specific id at the beginning of an event but then goes to a sort of clock wheel that plays music "randomly" for the remainder of the event

Rollie Dethloff MergedAfter a song ends after the top of an hour, the station starts the clockwheel over regardless of location. The first element in the clockwheel then begins to play, ad block, ID, or music.
For example, if my song ends at 2:01:35, instead of going to the next item in the clockwheel, the Auto DJ returns to the beginning of the clockwheel and starts the new hour. Rinse and repeat. I used to play Legal ID's on my station, but stopped once I noticed they would often fire off anywhere from 20 mins past the hour to 20 mins to the next one. This feature would ad structure to our stations.
Broadcasters that want it could also have the option to "hard sync" or have the clockwheel or a scheduled event start exactly at a specified time, such as 2:00pm. This feature is currently available but only for scheduled programs. -

James H Becker MergedIn trying to make a SMOOTH transition from AUTODJ to LIVE show, there are times when AUTODJ will play a track that is LONG and the LIVE show is delayed IF you don't want to cut the track off.
Recommendation: Add a case or requirement in AUTODJ that when it approaches the top of the hour, and when the last song ends and there is only 3 minutes left, then search/find a track that does NOT exceed that time frame. I have plenty of tracks in the 2-3 minutes range. -

Arlen Horn MergedStation Playlist Creator allows me to program specific features to play at or near a specified time and day. There is a need for this ability so that a clockwheel doesn't continue long past the top of the hour and can also allow for set day(s) and time(s) for feature programming.

SeanI'd like to add if scheduling a 2hour or longer block with clockwheel that it would treat the start time as as a marker point example block starts at 9:59am and ends 12:59 then scheduling would play clock wheel until 10:59 + or - 1 minute then restart the clockwheel from the top and again at 11:59. By the plus or minus one minute I mean that I would like the clockwheel to also avoid playing a track whose time limit would casue it to go outside of this range as a last track. For instance I have Boingo "Change" loaded in my station at 16 minutes this song could cause my clockwheel to fail miserably if launched 5 minutes before the new clock wheel is set to start. Another thing: if an hour is overscheduled music wise, when the top of the hour ID is supposed to fire at or around its scheduled time, any music that may be there as extra should be dropped in order to accomodate the top of the hour ID. And no song that is playing should be kneecapped in order to hard fire the ID.
