ClockWheel advance tools
Thanks for the introduction of the Clockwheel; it added some important control on AutoDJ. However, I will like to see some more advance features added to creating templates in the ClockWheel. For example: (1) we should have the ability to easily negate a specific category from a ClockWheel. Say, we want to chosen from any song in our library except those in the Christmas category. we should be able to select 'not-Christmas', (2)chosen a song from either two categories, and (3) Like the Ad type, have the abillity to set the duration of play for a song, say 2.0 min, 2.5 min, 3.0 min, 3.5 min or full, with full being the default setting

Progressive Rock AZUSAI would also like to be able to select two or more categories in the CW template and use "NOT" logic as well.

Tim Tyrrell MergedThe clock wheels are helpful but need to be expanded. The selections from the algorithm menu are useless. If I decide to add in some "gold" tracks, older songs. They are not current, yet because I added them recently, I cannot separate them from a brand new song that was also just added. Please add in letter categories (A, B, C...). That way I can put 80s song in one category and currents in another, so that I can really create a proper clock wheel. Much like in Selector, you could then really program your station like a pro. If you put in ten letter categories, that should be enough for someone to really mix of their station using the clock wheels. Right now, I find clock wheel useless.

Jayson Tanner MergedWe need to be able to start a playlist on time, when scheduled, without cutting off the previous song... so the strict program should start after the closest song ends. but it should end naturally. this will be much more professional. also when the strict playlist ends, it shouldn't jump back to the start to fill time. if it comes up short, it should move on to the next playlist. Nothing abrupt. Just smooth. Professional.

Steve MergedIt would be very helpful if you can show the number of times that a Category is used (while editing a ClockWheel). I was creating an entry in a clock and it keeps failing. Turns out, 2 of my Categories only had a few songs in it. This would also help to remove the ones that are not being used. I have used other database software that shows how many entries are assigned to a category.

Pat Rogers MergedIn addition to selecting whether a clockwheel starts at a specific time "Strict" or when the previous clockwheel has completed "Flexible" There could be an option to end a clockwheel as close to the scheduled time as possible (say at the end of the current song playing at the scheduled "end-time") rather than finish playing the entire clockwheel rotation. In most cases, this would make transitioning from one clockwheel (program) to another, a lot smoother than having the upcoming clockwheel disrupt a current one with the "Strict" setting. I've had clockwheels start 15-18 minutes past the planned start time based on a "Flexible" start setting for the new clockwheel and great disparity in the lengths of tracks selected in the current one.

Ken Hayward MergedBe nice when setting up a clock wheel, to have a choice to choose from what jingle to play. Currently we can choose from what genre that music pulls from, which is nice. Also, when choosing AD trigger, we can choose the length to schedule. However, when choosing a jingle, doesn't let you choose what jingle to play, just randomly pulls a jingle.

Rob Alfano MergedI also have been having issues with starting Clockwheels on time and would certainly welcome the ability for the Clockwheel to be able to complete the current song playing when the hour is over, rather than needing to complete the entire clock. My station's playlist has a wide variety of song lengths, (from 1:55 up to 13:00) so each hour presents it's own issues. This feature would be very welcomed.

Yolanda MergedWhen I add a new track to the system, it'd be nice for my clockwheel to begin immediately pulling the new stuff into the rotation. Right now there is no way to indicate that I want that. Only newest track per artist or album but not newest track in general.
