AutoDJ: Queue up songs in real time, take requests
I would like to see the Auto DJ have a playlist area where you can drop a random song in.
For example:
I get a Facebook message from a listener who wants to hear a specific song but the Auto DJ or Clock Wheel is playing on the station.
I could just log on, find the file in my music and send it to the Auto DJ playlist to play after the current song finishes. Once the requested song has played Auto DJ/Clock Wheel goes back to work.

John LanierI would REALLY like this option for scheduled playlists as well.
Sometimes, due to song requests or news updates, I want to go into a playlist that is currently playing and switch out a track. However, as it is now, when this is done [attempting to schedule an event to play "now" in real time], the server knocks the station off the air until the current track finishes, then picks up with the next track. I'd like to be able to insert a track during an active playlist without any interruption. -

Lawrence AtkinsonRadio.co had an option for listeners/artists to request their music and made it to where on auto dj the song was auto queued based off the play list you had created for your station to play.

DJ Paula PIt would be nice if we could drop station ID's in too. I want to occasionally recognize listeners in real time on my stream.

Dan ZinkThis is something I absolutely need. I'm getting requests all the time and I'm playing a clockwheel. I need to be able to insert a requested song inside my schedule's clockwheel. It can be the option to replace a song within the scheduled clockwheel.

Taiwan BarberAs my station grows and more indie artist join my network we are getting more and more song requests. I would like to see a feature/app that I can put on my website so that listeners can request a song from my playlist and it will be added to the Que.

jay aubrey Mergedi would like to see the autodj have some sort of song request
were it has the playlist that is already in your autodj,
listeners choose a specific random song they click that song and that random
song shows up in the autodj dashboard with there name and what song they have chosen?
Also Have a livedj song request script for the dashboard where you can embed it onto your website for the users say like one of your djs are on air that song request script tells listeners what dj is on air and the song that is chosen goes to that dj and that dj reads out that request on air in which the request script comes with a dedication box as well -

FLORENCIO E DEL VALLE MergedA log of all track selected to play in the day and delete or add change a track before it plays. Similar one the one on the "track" tab in "Events" but for the whole day with the function to allow to delete and add tracks.

Ronald K PugmireI use a 'tag' for requests. They will pop up eventually. But it's another tag that can be abused if not kept up with,
My feeling is that this is not what you should be concentrating on. If you understand your audience, then you know what they want. So give it to them.
Requests are handled better through online services like Twitter, Facebook or your website. Then work it into your cast. Having this site control that ... is lazy.
Voting this down. -

Timothy ZilchWhat we need is that option to put songs in a request folder that when we get a request we can automatically click on the request song and it will play

Ted MergedIt would be helpful to have the ability to drop/eliminate songs (song editing) in automation mode if the hour appears it will go over. That way, people can quickly edit out any songs near the end of the hour in order to stay on schedule... especially if you have top-of-the-hour IDs. As of now, the computer will sometimes play another song at :59 rather than ditching it, and the next hour sometimes starts four minutes past the hour.
