Opening Greeting When Stream is Accessed
When listeners first connect it would be nice to have a station greeting/announcement that could maybe be pulled as an ID?
Essentially, give Broadcasters the ability to select an audio file(s) that plays every time a listener connects to the stream, before connecting them to the actual audio feed.
This should be differentiated from a Station ID, to avoid having the potential of this file airing again, after the listener is connected.
This ability should be optional, as not all Broadcasters will want their audience to hear an intro, StationID, Promo, or AD, every time they connect.

Brett LeveridgeI frequently need to communicate things to my listeners. At present, my only option is via social media and the percentage of my listeners who follow my social feeds is pretty small. This would be very helpful indeed.

Hubert, Vibe 88.5If this happens we must be able to produce our own greeting file with the duration and content we choose. It should be IP based so a returning listener would not be hit with it every time. Probably just a simple cookie.
