Advertisement content / product preferences and opt-outs
It would be helpful if we can select "soft" ad preferences for a station's audience, allowing me to add a list of product / categories that would be of greater interest to my particular audience
Also - An option to disallow certain ads (i.e. for alcohol and tobacco products) - This is important, for example, for stations where children are part of the target audience. Would prefer feature to be a hard opt-out, not just a preference.
Built in product opt-out options:
- alcohol
- tobacco
- marijuana-derived products (THC, edibles, etc.)
- gambling
- adult sites and products
- Adult-rated media and video games
*update from Live365 3-2026* - All of the items above are filtered out of our Ad Delivery system by default. No Stations on our platform should be playing an Ads described in the request above. Additionally, we have even more filtering to help ensure a safe ad experience for everyone. Contact Support for more info

I appreciate Quin making this suggestion, as I also run a Christian station. Instead of the current method of having to contact support to have advertising opt-outs, we should be able to determine in our account which ad categories to opt out of.
In the past six months, I've heard ads for cigarettes and smokeless tobacco, certain liquors, and the biggest annoyance to run ads on the platform: gambling and sports betting.
In two hours of listening to Revolution Radio while on the road for work, most of the filled ads were for the likes of Bet365, as well as FanDuel Sportsbook and similar platforms. Probably not the best products to be pushing on a Christian station.
There has to be a better way. -

Anthony WThis is a logical, practical, and common-sense request.
I am not sure, but particular advertisers may be paying extra to appear across the board. Regardless, we should be able to opt-out.
I think I've been hearing politically inspired ads, which are really annoying. Across the board, politically inspired ads annoy everyone.
Listeners should enjoy listening to stations and not be brought down by ads that completely do not match the stations.
No one likes ads, but they are necessary.
At least, try to give stations the option to have ads that somewhat match the stations.
