Top of hour function - News Feed, Weather, ID's, station updates
I would like to see a feature where all we have to do is provide a newsfeed URL and Live365 automatically inserts it and plays the news every hour at the top of the hour (or at least what hours we choose). It should allowed you to pick intro and outro news music and automatically stops whatever is playing and plays the news feed every hour. This is a very nice feature to have. Please consider it.
consider and support different integrations such as RSS Feeds, static links, AI agents
Relationships with companies like Aiir for radionews.ai , Cirrhus Weather, DailyCast News, would go a long way in helping to reduce the amount of time it takes to schedule these events on a daily basis, including multiple times on a daily basis.
This will help all stations gain a more polished feel, and would be a huge benefit for beginners

. MergedIntegrate with clock wheels a top of hour break where either when it's scheduling or playing it back it skips scheduled items at the end of the hour (if it's overscheduled because of long songs etc.) and keeps everything running on time.

David MergedI would love to be able to record a simple top of the hour spot SHORT that would fire each hour saying it is straight up 1:00 pm and your listening to........ and so on, for each hour.. I think it would make the stations feel more real

Michael MergedYes! I would like to see a i.e. "Timed Drop Event" for the clocks. Most stations I have worked for over 32 years that are automated have something like this to be able to "Over schedule" an hour by a song or two but drops them if needed to keep a clock "On Time" to play an I.D. as close to TOH, spot sets @ :10 :20 :40 & :50 instead of floating the way they do. Some songs are shorter and some longer so you can't guarantee this at this time. However some type of trigger for "Timed Drop Event" would be a MAJOR plus!

The cost is a little high, but I have found out that in a short time, it has been well worth the cost. Plus, you could always sell sponsorships to cover the cost of the service.

Karl MergedHi, I think it's so cool that the ads I air are local no matter where I listen to my station. Could Live365 add a Local News and Weather feature, so that the user could get local news headlines and weather without having to leave my station? If soliciting local news stations is too costly, perhaps AI could read it?? Consider all the news regarding ChatGPT, perhaps Live365 could provide this for a fee to its stations??

USA Radio News allows internet only stations to sign with them for a fee and one way of getting their news is with an ip link.Another optionthat would work is to be able to donload an FTP when creeating an event.

Eric Millham MergedI'd like to request that you add optional time triggers that would generate some type of generic time cues like, "it's ?? minutes past the hour" or "it's ?? minutes until the top of the hour" or "it's half past the hour" or "it's the top of the hour," depending on where the triggers lands within each hour. I feel this feature would especially benefit listeners of stations using playlists, audio DJ or multitrack.
