  Excellent idea, as is Brett's for a selectable option of "do not repeat until entire list has played through."
  It would be a little like the "array" thing we had to learn in my 1983 BASIC language coding course, fondly remembered (along with... that girl): You code two lists; populate one; your code picks items one at at time from the first totally at random (in this case randomization would have to incorporate DMCA separation protocols,) and dumps into the second until the second is full and the first is empty; it rinses and repeats in reverse.

  I'm all for this change. I have a large library of tracks in a single category and I'd even like to have the option of all of them playing before any were repeated. At the very least, I'd like to see a 24-hour period of no repeats rather than just 4 hours.

  I generally only store enough songs for a total playlist duration of between 10-12 hours, so repeats within that small pool of songs are a pain, likely for my listeners as well as me. I second Dokun's suggestion of pushing the max separation all the way to 12 hours or more.

  The "Track Mix" DO NOT PLAY SAME TRACK WITHIN values within AutoDJ settings. This would allow more variety and less tracks being repeated.
  
  This would varies on lengths, but range between at least 8 hours (480 min) to 72 hours (3 days 4320 minutes).
  
  Ideally, it would just be a value that is entered up to a specified limit. So it could be "60" minutes or "542" minutes. Any value between 60 and XXX" If there was not enough content to fulfill the request, it could force a default value or a prompt for another value to be entered.

  I would like to see the Do Not Play Same Track and Do Not Play Same Title separation rules updated in AutoDJ to include 24 Hours, 48 Hours, 72 Hours and 96 Hours.
  
  4 Hours is too short a time for my station as I'm running a classic rock and album rock format with over 1,100 songs in my library, and I plan on adding more. Plus if you are using Clockwheels, it's using the AutoDJ parameters which in my opinion creates a programming clash as you are getting repeats in same day even when using the least played track algorithm.
  
  Thank you for considering extending the separation rules in AutoDJ.

  More Track separation durations or allow custom input (days, hours, minutes) This would allow higher track libraries to rotate more evenly by extending the "rest time" between track plays.

  Under AutoDJ Settings, we are currently limited to setting "DO NOT PLAY SAME TRACK WITHIN..." to 240 minutes. Please allow us to input a custom time length. Or at very least, increase this limit significantly. 240 minutes between plays is nowhere near enough to prevent the RANDOM SELECTION ALGORITHM from repeating the same song while completely ignoring others left unplayed.

  I would like a feature added that would prevent auto DJ from playing the same song within a ten hour period or longer. We have an extensive music library and would love to offer our listeners a No Repeat guarantee.
